Hello Friends!!!!
After a faulty nougat (Android 7.0) OTA update from Lenovo for LENOVO K6 NOTE (K53a48, code named KARATEP), many of you have lost your 2G/3G network connectivity and only 4G data is working. Due to which you are facing issues with calling (NO calls can be made or received). A friend of mine also faced this problem. He visited the service center, where they updated the software once again and still the solution was not found. They said that the motherboard is faulty and had to be changed. Finally he brought the phone to me and after doing a lot research over the web I have found a solution to the problem and would like to share it with all of you out there facing the issue.
Friends, for this to work you will have to root this phone. There is no need for you to worry as after the connectivity is restored we will flash the stock firmware and your phone will no longer be rooted.
This guide can be used by:
1) The people facing the above problem.
2) The people who want to root this phone and install custom recovery (twrp).
3) The people who want to install custom roms.
4) The people stuck with bootloop or soft bricked devices.
5) The people who want to go back to marshmallow rom as Nougat Rom has many bugs.

Steps Required:
1) Flash stock marshmallow rom.
2) Unlock bootloader.
3) Install twrp rec1.overy
4) Root using supersu.
5) Install network master guru and lock baseband.
6) Now your network should work. Those who want root access can finish the step here. People who want to go back to stock rom can go to step 7.
7) Flash stock marshmallow rom. Do further updates using OTA updates.
8) Re-lock boot loader.
As many of you have already reached a certain stage follow the instruction from the beginning if you like or from which ever stage you have reached.
Files Required:
1) Stock marshmallow Rom. Download Here.
2) QFIL. Download Here.
3) Custom recovery, supersu and adb tools. Download Here.
Now let us begin.
Installing necessary tools:
First of all download and extract all the files mentioned above.
1) Open "Root Tools Lenovo K53a48" folder. Install adb-setup-1.4.3.exe.
2) Open "Lenovo_K53a48_S115_Q00380_20161017" folder. Go to "Drivers" folder and run Setup.exe. Complete the installation.
3) Open "QPST_2.7.378.0" folder and run Setup.exe. Complete the installation.
Now that we have installed all the softwares and tools required we can move forward to flash the stock marshmallow rom.
Step I (Flash Stock Marshmallow Rom):
Go to Settings -> About Phone -> and Click the "Build number" 10 times. After this go back to Settings. Here you will see a new option named "Developer options". Check (Tick) the options "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging".
